Pre/Postnatal Massage
Fertility Massage - $80
The road to pregnancy can be a stressful one. Over time, chronic stress may hijack a womens’ attempts to get pregnant. Although we don’t fully understand the connection between stress and fertility, we do think that high stress levels confuse the brain’s hormone center. As a result, the brain may not send out the reproductive hormones necessary to tell the ovaries when to release an egg, thus delaying ovulation. Massage therapy can help facilitate the conception process physically by breaking up adhesions and increasing pelvic blood supply and emotionally by reducing stress and cortisol levels..whether you are trying naturally or in conjunction with appropriate medical treatment. Our prenatal certified massage therapists are trained in a combination of special massage techniques for women in fertility, prenatal and post partum massage. In order to receive a fertility massage it needs to be done any time between the start of menstruation until the time of ovulation. Please note, that there are no guarantees that this will work for you.
